Saturday morning boogie

Take a hint, buddy

This very persistent spider has rebuilt the web I have diligently removed almost daily for the last month or so. His prime spot is right next to the dinner table on the patio which makes for some disturbing mealtime entertainment as he munches on whatever he's caught. He just won't give up though, despite my best efforts to strongly discourage him. I will never get used to the size of the bugs in this country.

Beach Bootcamp

So much better than a stinky gym. If I could just get over my dislike of being covered in sand head to toe I could really love it. Of course being sweaty adds to the downside of rolling around in the sand for an hour at 6am, but the scenery helps.

A uniquely Sydney scene

Good friends gathered for some happy hour Pilates overlooking the ocean. Love it.

Extremes

End of the world weather and breathtaking sunrises, all in one place.

No more jogging at dusk

Creatures encountered while running home from work:
- 2 giant iguanas
- 1 rat-like thing that actually ran over my foot
- 1 flock of aggressive turkeys that charged me for running too close to them
There really is just too much overly friendly fauna in this country. Don't even get me started on the cacophony outside my window starting around 5:00am each day. The birds here are just downright rude.

Lunch hour, Sydney style

Soooooooo much better than eating a Subway sandwich off my keyboard in the office in Boston. Ugh, how am I going to go back?

Ahh, this is the life

How am I ever going to get these beach-bum sun-godesses to move back to Boston?
