Bali Part II

This trip was so long ago now that it seems silly to post more pictures at this point, but as the blog is serving as something of a journal for our Australian adventure we figured better late than never.

Super high trampolining

Trapeze (click play to watch video)

Riding elephants.  Of course Hannah the animal whisperer was up close and personal, but Abbey just thought "they smelled".

Feeding the monkeys and touring the temple.  At least Abbey's hatred of nature saved me some money this time.  Hannah spent about $20 on bananas to feed the monkeys but Abbey wanted no part of them.

Getting read for the big performance (a Club Med tradition)

Weird, awkward Daddy-daughter dance (for some reason I couldn't attach the video (maybe too long?) but you can use YouTube link below to watch video, if you dare!)

Just general cuteness

A sad, sad development

Unfortunately our amazing nanny, Kelsey has been prevented from the annoying Australian immigration authorities from returning following a vacation in Canada :( We are unimaginably sad to have to say goodbye to her (for now at least) but will never forget how amazing she made our lives in the time she was here. We miss you Kelsey!

More from the Only in Australia files

- Leaves the size of people (bigger than, actually)
- "winter" swimmer's uniform = speedo + hoody
- croc attack!
- camel "attack"! (Or at least according to Abbey)

Happy birthday to me

And Canada too apparently.

Come on!!!

I know I've posted lots of pictures of overpriced items on this blog already, but this one takes the cake. Scary thing is people were actually buying them. They love to disparage the Americans as fat, consumption-obsessed war-mongers, but they certainly don't turn up their noses at a sugary American treat even at this price.

Found some old photos

One of Hannah's favorite foods

Whale watching adventure started out all smiles...

... but eventually degenerated into seasickness for Abbey.  Hannah "Ironstomach" Whiting was all good.

Happy 7th Birthday, Hannah!
